Toward a Formalization of 00 Analysis

چکیده
While there are many books on OO analysis, few formalize their underlying notions. For most practitioners, this is not a problem. However, building meta-CASE tools, defining repository structures, and comparing OO notations requires an exacting approach. Everything must be clear and unambiguous. One way to ensure a clarity of ideas is through mathematical formalism. This paper is an initial attempt to produce such a formalism for those notions used to represent the results of OO analysis. To begin with, analysis and design are defined as follows:
